Who we are

What TPH does

TPH connects Android devices to thermal printers and provides in-app printing, PDF/image import, Android System Print and Share/Open-With printing. Android licensing manages Trial/paid entitlements, licensed-device limits, print quotas and Google Play purchases.

Data processed

Licensing may process an app-generated installation identifier, TPH license/device identifiers and public support code, platform/app version, activation and last-seen times, Google Play product/purchase/subscription metadata and purchase token, Play Integrity verification information, successful print-usage counters/job identifiers/timestamps/feature category, and licensing administration/audit records.

Purchase tokens are encrypted at rest and separately hashed for lookup. Device credentials are stored server-side as hashes.

Payments

Paid Android plans are purchased through Google Play Billing. TPH does not directly receive payment-card or bank-account details entered into Google Play. TPH receives only purchase and entitlement metadata needed to verify and maintain the license.

Documents and print content

TPH processes documents/images selected or shared by the user to render and print them. Under the current architecture, printed PDF/image/document content is not sent to the TPH licensing backend.

Location and identifiers

TPH does not request coarse, fine or background location for printer discovery. Bluetooth scanning is not used to derive physical location. Licensing does not intentionally collect IMEI, IMSI, SIM serial or Android Advertising ID.

Purposes

Data is used to provide app functionality, verify Trial and paid licenses, enforce device/feature/print limits, restore Google Play purchases, prevent fraud/Trial abuse, and provide licensing administration and support.

Sharing

TPH uses Google Play Billing and Play Integrity. Google processes data required to provide those services under Google’s policies. TPH does not sell licensing data.

Security

Safeguards include HTTPS licensing endpoints, encrypted purchase tokens, hashed device credentials, Android Keystore-backed local credential protection, signed licensing leases, and keeping private keys/service-account credentials outside the application repository.

Retention and deletion

Play Integrity challenges are retained for up to 24 hours after expiry/use; rate-limit buckets for about two hours; admin OTP/session records for up to 24 hours after expiry/use/revocation; staging test codes for up to 30 days; and admin audit records for 12 months.

License, device, Google Play entitlement and quota-bearing usage records are retained while the entitlement is active. After final expiry/cancellation and the end of licensing activity, they are retained for up to 24 months unless a continuing/perpetual entitlement, security/fraud dispute or legal obligation requires longer retention.

To request deletion of applicable TPH licensing data, email contact@cairopos.com and include the public TPH support/license code shown in the app. After verification that the requester controls the relevant installation or entitlement, verified requests are targeted for completion within 30 days.

Google Play Integrity / Device Recall platform-side anti-abuse state is separate from the TPH licensing database and is governed by Google’s applicable service and retention rules.
